CAN YOU HELP ?

The Bureaux is a voluntary organisation and is staffed almost entirely by unpaid volunteers.  A Trustee Board, made up of volunteers appointed from the local community, has overall responsibility for the Bureaux and through the District Manager ensures that the service meets the quality standards set by Citizens Advice (Formerly NACAB) and the Legal Services Commission.

We are keen to recruit:

Volunteer Trustees

We are keen to recruit two new Trustee Board Members, especially anyone who would be interested in the role of Treasurer for the District Bureaux. If you are interested please contact us via this email address info@redhillcab.cabnet.org.uk.

Volunteer Administrator

We have a vacancy for a Volunteer Administrator. Please express you interest in this position via this email address info@redhillcab.cabnet.org.uk. You can find more details in the following links:

Volunteer Advisers

Currently we have a full complement of volunteer advisers.  Please either contact us later in the year or perhaps undertake one of the other volunteer roles within the Bureaux.

Support Workers

The front line Advisers are backed up by other volunteers who help with many different types of administration e.g. typing, data input, data collection, organisation of leaflets to name but a few.

Trustee Board Members

The Trustee Board meets four times per year and members with different skills are recruited to help support and develop the work of the Advisers and the District Bureaux.

Fund Raising

As a Registered Charity we are always looking for innovative ways of increasing the funding coming into the Bureaux.  We need these funds to replace I.T. equipment and other office equipment on a regular basis, to update our telephone system, and keep our premises comfortable for our clients.  Our Trustee Board has a Fund Raising Committee, but you do not have to become a member of the Trustee Board to assist us with this role – just someone with a few good ideas and bags of “get up and go” to move it forward.

If you have time to spare each week and would like to volunteer in any of the above roles, then please contact Mrs Helen Miller – Training and Development Manager at the Redhill Bureau, and who will be happy to give you some further details.

The Bureaux understands that no “one size fits all” but does operate an Equal Opportunity and Fair Treatment Policy to include all members of our community regardless of race, sex, disability, sexual identity or marital status – come and join us, you will made very welcome.
