The Citizens Advice Bureau has had a presence in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead since 1939, with the very first bureau based in Reigate .  This original bureau has slowly expanded and following the amalgamation between Reigate and Banstead CAB and Horley CAB in October 2004 we now have a district wide structure which covers all the communities within the Borough of Reigate and Banstead.

The Bureaux is an independent voluntary organisation and is registered as a charity.  Because of our independence we are able to give completely impartial advice.  This advice is free and totally confidential and is delivered by highly competent volunteer advisers who undergo continuous training so as to be fully conversant with current legislation and rules.

We have been awarded the Community Legal Services (CLS) Quality Mark for General Help and Telephone Advice, demonstrating that we have achieved the high standards required under this scheme. We also hold the Community Legal Services Specialist Quality Mark in Debt Casework.

We are a member of Citizens Advice (formerly NACAB) and this membership signifies our independence from any interest other than those of our clients.

For more complex enquiries we have specialist advisers in areas such as Money Advice, Welfare Benefits, and Employment.
